The multi-academy trust model

This partnership model combines our programme, resources, training, and events with teacher-led in-school sessions. In this way, young people benefit from our expertise in skills development and youth-led social action, whilst teachers and schools have the freedom to adapt the programme in a way that best suits the needs of their students.
Does it work?
87% of young people believe participating in the programme helped them improve their essential skills.
88% of participants would recommend the programme to another student.
91% of young people want to continue involvement in social action after participating in the programme.
The Co-op Academies Trust

With the support and funding of the Co-op Foundation, we designed and delivered a bespoke multi-academy trust (MAT) model. This three-year youth-led social action programme was piloted in 10 Co-op Multi Academies Trust schools.
Teams of year 8 students from Co-op Academies across the North-West of England worked to produce their own social action project, tackling an issue they face in their school.

By blending education with real-world workplace experience, Envision tackles social mobility and the need to give everyone an equal opportunity head-on. Their work creates immediate impact and a long-lasting legacy - building a fairer, more productive society that will continue to thrive long after I’ve finished pedalling as part of their charity bike ride.

Our impact
We’re focused on making our programmes the best they can be. Read about our approach.
The 13-week programme comprises of 3 cross-school events and 10 in-school weekly sessions. Cross-school events not only provide an exciting opportunity to build cohesion and connection across schools within the Trust, but allow young people to learn from and be inspired by their peers.
