Toby’s background is in Engineering, studying at Oxford before working at BP. This was followed by time at McKinsey & Co. (Engagement Manager) and a Danish container shipping startup called Portchain (Vice President of Customers). Both roles took him all over the world working in many different countries with numerous large companies. He is now more UK focused and is the Head of Programmes at Freightliner, a UK lntermodal Logistics and Heavy Haul company. After spending much of his career travelling, Toby wanted to find a way to support communities in his home country. He was inspired by Envision’s practical approach to empowering young people to develop their confidence and improve their futures. This led him to joining the board to apply his strategic and critical thinking in a way that positively impacted his local environment.
