More about me
Josephine took part in the Envision KS5 London Programme in 2019.
Josephine thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to upskill herself by working with professional mentors, whilst also completing her A-Levels and preparing for university. Josephine joined Envision’s Youth Board upon graduating from the programme, as she was eager to provide feedback and ensure the programme continues to improve in order to help other young people develop. After two years on the Youth Board, Josephine is now the Youth Board Trustee; a role that allows her to contribute to Envision’s strategy and impact.
A social issue I care about
"I am passionate about mitigating financial illiteracy amongst young individuals. It refers to a lack of understanding of financial components and skills such as budgeting, investing, borrowing, taxation, and overall personal financial management. Financial literacy is not often taught in schools, and I believe this is a limitation for many young individuals, especially those from deprived backgrounds."
