More about me

Elinor began her career as a primary school teacher, spending three years in the classroom helping children learn and grow. Whilst she loved teaching, she was keen to explore other educational settings and opportunities to work with young people of all ages. This led her to complete an MPhil in Heritage Studies, combining her passion for education with a growing interest in museums and heritage. Following her studies, she joined the Natural History Museum’s learning team, where working with young people reinforced her enthusiasm for youth engagement and ultimately inspired her to join Envision.

A social issue I care about

"I’m passionate about making museums and heritage spaces accessible, welcoming and representative of everyone. These places have the power to connect people with stories, cultures and experiences, but only when they are inclusive and ethical in how they collect, interpret and share them. I’m a strong advocate for equitable access to museum and heritage spaces, as well as more responsible collection and display practices."
