Celebrating Success: A Recap of Our Post-16 Programme 2023

Another Post-16 Programme comes to an end!
Celebrating Success: A Recap of Our Post-16 Programme 2023

As our Post-16 cohort for the 23-24 year comes to a close, we’re thrilled to reflect on what an incredible journey it has been. Led by our superhero Programme Coordinators, 25 teams of young people have made a significant impact in their schools and colleges across Birmingham, Bristol, and London.

Over the course of 21 weeks, each team went through a real transformation, sharpening their essential skills and undoubtedly boosting their confidence. We saw their dedication up close as they took on important issues in their communities. From addressing the cost of living crisis to organising inclusion days to celebrate cultural diversity and those with disabilities, the projects undertaken by our young people will undoubtedly leave a lasting legacy in their communities. Their passion and commitment to making positive change have been truly inspiring.

Of course, none of this would have been possible without the continued support of our corporate partners and their teams of mentors. Their invaluable guidance, feedback, and laughter have made all the difference not only in helping our young people achieve their goals but also in enjoying the journey along the way.

As we wrap up another fantastic cohort, we want to say a huge thank you to everyone involved. Together, we can continue to highlight the value in collaboration and coming together to support young people as they drive meaningful change in their communities.

Scroll down to hear from each of our Post-16 Programme Coordinators about their highlights of the cohort, and take a look through the photos below!

“I’m so proud of seeing young people from my community take on youth social action for the first time. This is something entirely new to a lot of young people and they were able to embrace it and make an impact. Seeing their confidence grow and their teams bond made me happy because I got to be part of the process where Envision truly makes a difference.”

“This cohort, I’ve really enjoyed seeing the growth and confidence from my young people. It has been so inspiring to see them tackle issues that are truly important to them and affect their every day lives. I can honestly say this programme has helped each and every one of my young people and I hope they recognise themselves how far they have come – it has been an absolute pleasure to work with them for the past 21 weeks”
