Mentor Training
The training will provide you with all the skills and tools you’ll need to get the best from your student team.
Mentor Toolkit
The toolkit, given out at training, contains all the information you need to help you be an effective and happy EYE, including overviews of the Envision programme and a comprehensive reference guide.
Mentor Pack
Before you start working with your student team, you will get a pack containing everything you need to be a top facilitator: icebreakers, games, exercises, and various other tools.
You’ll receive all the support you need to help you get the best Envision experience
Mentor Pairing
Team Mentors are ideally assigned in pairs, or occasionally threes, to ensure you can support each other and bring the benefit of your collective experience to the team.
Envision Coordinator
You and your partner will be assigned an Envision Coordinator as your main Envision contact. You can rely on them for ongoing advice and support by phone, email and face-to-face, as well as research and help with your team's projects.
Events
They take place throughout the year to give you the opportunity to ask questions, share your experiences and network with other volunteers.
Mentor News You will regularly receive an e-bulletin giving you advice about the various stages of the programme, top tips for common problems and details of any upcoming events.
