Envision is only able to make the difference it does to young people and communities because of the people who are part of it.
Volunteers make an essential contribution to the work we do and we are committed to inspiring and supporting people who want to make a difference by giving up their own time to help others.
Our main volunteering opportunity is the Envision Team Mentor role and we recruit, train and support around 175 of these each year. Team Mentors work with a school team over the course of an academic year, helping them to develop an issue that they care about into a project that will make a positive difference to their school or wider community.
As well as opportunities to become a mentor, Envision has a range of volunteering opportunities on offer, including helping to organise and run events, offering fundraising support and working in the Envision offices.
“The young people really inspired me. It was so refreshing to have discussions with young people who have such strong ideals and convictions. When you listen to them tell you how we can make the world a better place it makes you think that there’s still hope.”
Vikki James, Envision volunteer
