Prizes galore to celebrate Envision's 10th birthday
As part of our celebrations to mark Envision's 10th birthday we ran a special birthday raffle.
The winning tickets were drawn at our summer ceremony at the Emirates Stadium, London, on 16th July 2010 and were:

- First Class Virgin Train travel to anywhere in the UK - Penelope Elias, ticket 13
- A Vivienne Westwood handbag - Janet Beddison, ticket 132

Envision takes on the British 10k run times five - and a dip in the Thames
In the last few weeks before to our 10th Birthday celebration on 16th July, Envision staff and friends are ramping up their fundraising efforts.
Rachel, Rosie, Helen M, Anneka and John will join runners from over 30 countries on a course that takes in many of London's most famous landmarks for the British 10k on the 11th July.
Helen T successfully swam a mile in Victoria Dock Great London Swim on the 3rd July (pictures to follow!)
The Envision Quiz Night
Report from our Fundraising Coordinator Alaistair:
"The annual Helaba-Envision pub quiz took place on Tuesday 11th May and people are agreeing that it was not only the biggest, but the best one yet! Over 150 people came down to the Wine Tun in St. Pauls to put their trivia knowledge to the test. They also had the chance to win raffle prizes and bid for an exciting piece of England football memorabilia.
The night raised over £1400 to support Envision’s work. Many thanks to everyone who came down and, in particular, our friends at Helaba for their hard work in helping put the night together. A good time was had by all. See you next year!"

Robbie Ran Paris
On the 11th April 2010 Leeds Coordinator Robbie pounded the streets of Paris to raise money for Envision.
Robbie says: "Thank you all so much for your fantastic support (financial and emotional) over the months preceding the Paris Marathon which, I am pleased to announce, I completed in a time of 4 hours, 56 minutes and 45 seconds!
Yes it was painful, I considered on several occasions the possibility of jumping into the Seine and ending it all, but your smiling sweet faces, humble words of encouragement as well as doubts and bets against me pulled me back from the brink, and, after 42.195km, 4 bananas, lots of pork, several squirrels and hundreds of high fives, pushed me over that finish line!
Together we raised £680.59p (inc. Giftaid) and I thank you all for donating towards this."

Envision Leeds Goes Live
On Friday the 15th of January, Envision Leeds held its first fundraiser - Envision Live. The gig was organised in collaboration with Mylo's on Call Lane and a number of local Leeds bands.
The venue was packed out from the start and the night was a huge success, with great performances from three local bands and a DJ, including Katherine Myles, Regional Coordinator of the Envision Leeds office.
In total £350 was raised and everyone had a brilliant night. Thank you to everyone who helped make it happen!
