Pitch4Change on BBC PointsWest

This year's Pitch4Change teams in Bristol hit the headlines after the BBC joined them for the day as they pitched their social action projects.

Pitch4Change partner, Alex Burgh from St James' Place puts students through their paces as a panel judgeLaunched in London four years ago, Pitch4Change is part of Envision's Young Leaders programme which brings young people together with corporate mentors to help them develop valuable employability skills through delivering social action projects that make a positive difference in their communities.

Following the success of Pitch4Change in London and Birmingham, the programme was launched in Bristol for the first time this year. With the expert advice of their corporate mentors from St James Place, Thirty Three, Gregg Latchams and Clarke Willmott, the five Envision teams prepared project plans, marketing strategies and budgets which they presented to a panel of business representatives for the chance of winning up to £500 to fund their idea.

BBC journalist from Pointswest joined the Envision teams for the afternoon as they presented their pitches and awaited the panel's final decision.

Many thanks to our Bristol Pitch4Change partners this year - St James Place, Thirty Three, Gregg Latchams and Clarke Willmott
