Future50 launches in Birmingham

Envision and membership organisation, Birmingham Future, have officially launched a brand new initiative aimed at inspiring the next generation of young professionals in Birmingham.

Future 50 is a brand new project that matches the very best rising stars from Birmingham’s thriving business community with 50 young people from across the city who have the ambition to succeed, but have so far lacked the opportunities to do so.

The launch held at Brewin Dolphin welcomed enthusiastic business professionals who were keen to pass on their skills and expertise to the city’s next generation. An impressive 40 mentors have already come forward pledging their time and experience, but there is still time to sign up and be a part of Envision and Birmingham Future’s response to youth unemployment and skills gap.

It’s great to see so many professionals sign up to take part in Future 50. Envision have a strong track record of providing engaging volunteering opportunities for businesses. Youth unemployment is obviously a serious issue in Birmingham so with Envision’s link to young people across the city and the talent and skills within our professional industry, we felt it was a no brainer to try and link the two together.
