Community-Apprentice takes home National Award.

Envision's Community-Apprentice competition has received an Enabling State Award from the Carnegie UK Trust

Community-Apprentice has been presented with an Enabling State award by the Carnegie Trust.

The Enabling State is a piece of work being undertaken by the Carnegie UK Trust which explores what happens when we successfully give citizens and communities more control over their own wellbeing and the public services that they receive.

Following hundreds of applications, from across the UK, Community-Apprentice was selected as one of six finalists with special recognition for the way we support young people and for working in some of the most disadvantaged communities in the country.

We were invited down to London to accept our award, meet the Carnegie Trust Team and our fellow finalists. Our Birmingham Manager, Cameron Nimmo, alongside participants from Community-Apprentice 14/15, Caitlyn and Zoe were in attendance and representing Envision.

You can see our winning video alongside the other five finalists on the Enabling State website.
