To mark the start of Community-Apprentice 2013-2014, Envision Bristol will be hosting 'Community-Apprentice: The Take Off'.

Over 150 students from across Bristol will gather at The Park in Knowle to learn top class skills that will help them plan and develop their own community action project. With local organisations such as 1625 Independent People, Off The Record and MSHED hosting activities and skill sessions, students will get the chance to learn about a variety of social and environmental issues, whilst developing useful employability skills such as problem-solving, communciation and teamwork.

As well as learning how to make a positive community impact, attendees will also be making a difference on the day! We are inviting all our corporate partners to work together with our Community-Apprentices at the event, for afternoon's worth of social action. The students will be contributing to the ongoing improvements at The Park in order to support local community groups and members of the public.

If you are interested in making a difference and inspiring Bristol's young people, then come along to the Take Off and be a part of the Community-Apprentice class of 2014.

Just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to make a difference -and we'll do the rest!
