Envision is committed to sharing best practice and conducting consultancy sessions to enable organisations to make more informed decisions on how to engage and work with young people.
Envision can work with various audiences and organisations to help them develop their youth engagement and support strategy. Our team can sit down with you and assess your needs to develop a programme, workshops or an event which would meet each of your requirements.

Whether you are looking to engage and empower young people, train volunteers, make the most out of your interns or are taking your first steps towards youth participation, Envision can work with you to create a training package that is professional, relevant and tailored to your needs.
Young people play many key roles in the running of our organisation, right from informing our visual identity to sitting on the board of trustees. In our daily working lives we are committed to meaningful consultation and participation of young people.
If you have a training programme or idea that you would like to discuss then please contact Rommel Moseley at the London Office on 0207 253 1677 or at rommel@envision.org.uk
Case study: Consultations and Debate
Envision was asked to invite 30 young people to take part in a consultation with the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC). They were consulted on what issues they felt the EHRC should be tackling on behalf of young people - in particular the rights of young people, their representation in the media and the importance of bringing young people together.
Envision staff and volunteers facilitated a series of discussion workshops with the resulting conclusions being debated in a mock chamber of the House of Commons. The debate was chaired by an Envision Grad and attended by chair of the EHRC Sir Trevor Phillips. Feedback from both the young people and the Commission was that the event had been highly informative, well-run and that everyone had enjoyed themselves immensely.
"Thank you for all your hard work! We are all really happy! Trevor Phillips just stopped by and said how pleased he was and how we need to keep this up and have even bigger debates! So this is only just the beginning...
Gabriella Flores –Coordinator EHRC
Case study: Training and Development
Living Streets - which campaigns for better public spaces and encourages people to do more walking - asked Envision to prepare a toolkit on ‘How to engage young people in a pupil-led campaign.’ Envision has also been asked to deliver a training session to Living Streets mentors who will be working on the programme at its launch in Newcastle.
"Envision delivered training to adult mentors at the launch of Living Streets’ ‘Step Up’ campaign to get more secondary school students walking to school. We asked Envision to give the mentors an introduction to the campaign, and to supporting participants within a ‘pupil-led’ ethos. We were very happy with the service we received from Envision, and their attention to detail in preparing the content of the session. The session was created to our specification, and delivered by an experienced trainer. The session was well-received by mentors, one participant commented ’the facilitator was very effective, a natural’. I would definitely recommend Envision as trainers of youth mentors."

Case study: Workshops and Events
Envision is a member of Youth Action Network which supports organisations working with young people and delivering Youth Action projects. In May 2008, Envision delivered workshops to young people who received funding from Youth Action Network as part of their Youth in Action Small Grants scheme. We delivered two workshops on the topic of ‘Events Planning for Young People Made Easy’. These were attended by 40 young people.
"Envision provided a fun, engaging and informative session which resulted in fantastic feedback from the young people. The session was inclusive, topical and well structured. We look forward to working with them again in the future"
Laura, Envision Youth Member Support Officer – Youth Action Network
