Nathan's passion for youth work started when he volunteered on YMCA Holloway's ‘Youth Matters' programme. On this scheme, he worked to help promote the rights and issues of young people in the capital. Seeing the changes that young people could make, he knew that this was the area he wanted to work in.
He moved to Sheffield to study Social Work at Sheffield Hallam University, where he was President of the society AIM (Arts, Innovation & Media). AIM contributed to major charity events and ran monthly creative workshops - on everything from film editing to music production!
Nathan has also spent time working with Concordia, the local NCS provider in Brighton and Hove. He is passionate about working with community organisations, and has also worked with Hackney Pirates, Cellar Space and Finchley Youth Theatre.
I am excited about being involved in the positive cycle of change for all the young people I work with. Being a proud Londoner, I am happy to be giving back to my local communities and encouraging young people to do the same.”
