Having spent last year as an Envision Co-ordinator in Birmingham, we're thrilled to have Freya join our Bristol team as Programme Co-ordinator.

Freya is passionate about politics and a fierce believer in the power of education in helping change people’s lives. A Politics graduate from the University of Nottingham Freya worked on numerous campaigns. During her time as a student she set up an Aegis Trust Society that campaigned against human rights abuses, worked as the Events Co-ordinator for the UNICEF society and was also the Campaigns Co-ordinator for the Women’s Network.

Before coming to Envision, Freya travelled to Kigali, Rwanda as part of her research into the role of education in areas of post conflict. On her return to the UK she worked as part of a team that launched a student-led national advocacy campaign called ‘We Need To Talk About Sudan’.

She also worked for the Humanitarian Aid Relief Trust as the Campaigns and Advocacy intern where she had the opportunity to sit-in on questions in the House of Lords and represent the organisation at talks with the Associate Parliamentary Group for Sudan.

Envision is a great place to work because it’s like being part of an awesome kooky family who all share the same passion that together we can achieve real change.
