Caspar has a varied experience in working with young people from different walks of life. His past experience ranges from working with young folk across London in community settings to filming a documentary with homeless LGBTQ youth in New York City. Other elements of his working life have previously taken him into the realms of hospitality and events management.
Caspar has a BA in TV Production from Westminster University. As part of his studies he wrote a dissertation on the Television portrayal of black youth and how this influences their social relations and attitudes, undertaking an ethnographic study with young Black folk hailing mostly from South East London. His most prevalent research and work experiences lie in the field of youth work, especially with youth hailing from LGBTQ and/or BME backgrounds.
If Caspar is not working with young people he can probably be found dancing to Soca and Bashment music on the streets of Barbados, or visiting an art gallery somewhere in the Western Hemisphere. Of German and Finnish descent, Caspar is also trilingual.
Every day I continue to be inspired by the countless ways that young people have made a real impact. Envision celebrates social action and embraces personal development in a really fun, unique way that I am so proud to be a part of.”
